SEOUL, Dec 18 (Reuters) – South Korea’s AK Holdings Inc 006840.KS stated on Wednesday its price range airline unit Jeju Air Co Ltd 089590.KS signed an MoU to purchase a 51% stake in unlisted low-cost provider Eastar Jet Co Ltd for about 69.5 billion received ($58.93 million).
Jeju Air stated in an announcement it anticipated to amass newly issued shares by Eastar Jet, and to signal a closing deal by the top of this yr.
