Singapore Airways, Malaysia Airways require COVID-19 vaccines for crew


SINGAPORE/KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 19 (Reuters)Singapore Airways Ltd SIAL.SI and Malaysia Airways mentioned they’d mandated COVID-19 vaccinations for pilots and cabin crew, becoming a member of a rising variety of airways world wide making it an employment requirement.

Singapore Airways mentioned that 99% of energetic pilots and cabin crew had been vaccinated forward of a Sept. 1 deadline, in addition to all frontline floor employees. Malaysia Airways mentioned that each one energetic pilots and cabin crew had acquired vaccines as had 95% of Malaysia-based staff below a coverage set in July.
