Feb 20 (Reuters)Truworths Worldwide TRUJ.J reported a marginal rise in first-half earnings on Thursday as the style retailer battles constrained spending in South Africa and Brexit associated uncertainties within the UK, two of its key markets.

The clothes, sneakers, jewelry and homeware retailer stated its headline earnings per share (HEPS) for the 26 weeks to Dec. 29 inched larger to 364.9 South African (SA) cents from 363.2 SA cents a yr earlier.

HEPS is the principle revenue measure for South African firms and strips out sure one-off objects.
