U.S. reviews world’s first deer with COVID-19


CHICAGO, Aug 27 (Reuters)The U.S. authorities stated on Friday it had confirmed the world’s first instances of COVID-19 in deer, increasing the record of animals recognized to have examined optimistic for the illness.

The U.S. Division of Agriculture reported infections of SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19, in wild white-tailed deer within the state of Ohio, in line with a press release. There have been no reviews of deer exhibiting signs of an infection, the USDA stated.
