LONDON, April 2 (Reuters) – British Airways ICAG.L has reached an settlement with the Unite union to furlough employees on 80% of pay with none cap on earnings and with out anybody being made redundant, the union stated on Thursday.
Britain has launched a job retention scheme which covers 80% of wage capped at a most of two,500 kilos ($3,093) a month.
The union stated BA would introduce a modified model of the scheme. It stated there would even be no unpaid non permanent lay offs.
