July 9 (Reuters) – United Airways Holdings Inc UAL.O stated on Friday it might add almost 150 flights to cities in america, Central America and the Caribbean, because it prepares for a surge in passengers who wish to journey through the winter holidays.
Airways are including flights and hiring extra employees in preparation for a leap in demand as economies open up and vaccination protection improves.
United stated it had flown 5 instances as many passengers through the fourth of July journey interval than it did final 12 months. The U.S. service expects the pattern to stay for the remainder of the 12 months.
Smaller rival Spirit Airways Inc SAVE.N stated on Thursday it might resume all worldwide flights, together with routes to some Central American and Caribbean locations, from Orlando.
