Roger Ver, govt chairman of main cryptocurrency web site, Bitcoin.com, now says that Bitcoin.com’s discussion board closure announcement was untimely.

Yesterday, Bitcoin.com’s discussion board abruptly dropped an alert concerning the upcoming closure of the discussion board on July 23. Posted by a discussion board administrator, the announcement didn’t specify the explanations behind the motion.

Subsequently, Bitcoin.com’s exec, Ver, mentioned that the discussion board will quickly make a reversal announcement.

In a June 26 e-mail to Cointelegraph, Ver wrote:

“This caught me unexpectedly too, and I feel the announcement was untimely. I believe there can be a reversal announcement quickly.”

Regardless of Ver’s response, the closure alert stays on Bitcoin.com’s discussion board web site.
