Pavel Durov, CEO of the favored encrypted messaging platform, Telegram, has denied reviews that the agency is making ready to promote the corporate after the failure of Telegram’s blockchain challenge.
In keeping with an Aug. 5 report by native tech publication iXBT, Russia’s web firm Mail.ru is without doubt one of the events considering buying Telegram. One other is an as but unidentified Russian billionaire. The data was reportedly shared by Russia-based dealer and analyst, Kirill Promzin. Shortly after the iXBT’s report was revealed, Telegram CEO offered an official assertion concerning the USA’ transfer towards Chinese language TikTok. In an Aug. four Telegram put up, Durov stated that Telegram has “at all times declined provides” to promote Telegram’s operations in particular nations.
Durov added:
“We’re not promoting Telegram – neither partially, nor in full. It will at all times be our place.”
The information comes shortly after Telegram reportedly shut down the check community for the Telegram Open Community, or TON, on Aug. 1, 2020. The agency formally introduced plans to discontinue help of the TON testnet in early July 2020.
