The Horizon Small/Mid Cap Core Equity ETF is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Friday, with over 335,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 39,000. Shares of SMOX were down about 0.7% on the day.

Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Friday were American Airlines Group, trading up about 0.6% with over 17.7 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Hecla Mining, down about 2.7% on volume of over 9.1 million shares. Versant Media Group is the component faring the best Friday, up by about 4.9% on the day, while Semtech is lagging other components of the Horizon Small/Mid Cap Core Equity ETF, trading lower by about 5.8%.
