Friday’s ETF with Unusual Volume: URA


The Uranium ETF is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Friday, with over 3.1 million shares traded versus three month average volume of about 859,000. Shares of URA were up about 9.1% on the day.

Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Friday were Uranium Energy, trading up about 11.8% with over 12.0 million shares changing hands so far this session, and UR Energy, up about 15.1% on volume of over 5.5 million shares. Fission Uranium is the component faring the best Friday, up by about 16.9% on the day, while Nexgen Energy is lagging other components of the Uranium ETF, trading higher by about 6.1%.
