SCHA, HSMV: Big ETF Outflows

Looking at units outstanding versus one week prior within the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the biggest outflow was seen in the Schwab US Small-Cap ETF, where 97,750,000 units were destroyed, or a 12.8% decrease week over week. Among the largest underlying components of SCHA, in morning trading today Sandisk is up about 1.6%, and Lumentum Holdings is up by about 6.8%.

And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest outflow was the First Trust Horizon Managed Volatility Small/Mid ETF, which lost 100,000 of its units, representing a 40.0% decline in outstanding units compared to the week prior. Among the largest underlying components of HSMV, in morning trading today Ingredion is off about 0.4%, and Dolby Laboratories is lower by about 0.5%.
