The First Trust US Equity Opportunities ETF is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Wednesday, with over 426,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 56,000. Shares of FPX were off about 0.3% on the day.
Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Wednesday were Palantir Technologies, trading down about 2.8% with over 27.6 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Uber Technologies, off about 0.9% on volume of over 10.6 million shares. Upstart Holdings is the component faring the best Wednesday, higher by about 3.4% on the day, while ON Semiconductor is lagging other components of the First Trust US Equity Opportunities ETF, trading lower by about 4%.
