Wednesday’s ETF with Unusual Volume: FVD


The First Trust Value Line Dividend Index Fund ETF is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Wednesday, with over 2.0 million shares traded versus three month average volume of about 764,000. Shares of FVD were up about 0.1% on the day.

Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Wednesday were AT&T, trading down about 1.1% with over 28.7 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Pfizer, down about 1.4% on volume of over 12.2 million shares. SAP is the component faring the best Wednesday, higher by about 4.4% on the day, while Packaging of America is lagging other components of the First Trust Value Line Dividend Index Fund ETF, trading lower by about 2.9%.
