Retail FX and CFDs broker eToro has announced the appointment of Massimo Citoni as Regional Manager for Italy.

In this role, Massimo will lead eToro’s operations in Italy, focusing on driving market growth and achieving operational excellence. His responsibilities will include developing strategic partnerships with local entities and overseeing all marketing initiatives within the region. Additionally, he will oversee customer retention activities, aiming to enhance the experience for both Italian clients and members of the eToro Club. Effective from December, Massimo will also join the board of Italian fintech industry association AssoFintech.

Massimo Citoni first joined eToro as an Account Manager in 2015. He successfully managed high net worth client relationships in Italy, demonstrating a deep understanding of client needs and the Italian market landscape. This expertise enabled him to advance within the company, culminating in his promotion to Head of the Italian Desk in 2023. Massimo is a certified financial advisor, accredited by both CySEC and ASIC.
