European lawmakers are pushing for more sanctions and are actually doing very little to aid with the inflation battle. They are leaving all of that to the ECB and even if the central bank throws the kitchen sink at the issue, it is not going to provide much help. As an example, the energy crisis for one is nothing that Lagarde & co. can do anything about.
