LONDON, Jan 2 (Reuters) – International trade agency Travelex
stated on Thursday it had taken all its programs offline after it
was hit by a software program virus earlier this week.
“Our investigation to this point reveals no indication that any
private or buyer information has been compromised,” Travelex stated
in an announcement.
The choice to take the programs offline was precautionary,
it stated.
Pc specialists and exterior cyber safety consultants had
been working since New Yr’s Eve to isolate the virus, the
firm stated, including its branches had been persevering with to supply
overseas trade providers manually.
Finablr, a United Arab Emirates-based fee
options enterprise, which owns Travelex, stated its six different
manufacturers weren’t affected by the virus and had been working
usually.
