The producer and screenwriter, who created Sons of Anarchy and co-created Mayans M.C., introduced his firing in a letter despatched to the solid and crew of the sequence spin-off. The strongly-worded observe, which was obtained and published by The Hollywood Reporter on Thursday, detailed the obvious findings of an “investigation” into Sutter’s conduct on the set of Mayans M.C.
In keeping with Sutter, FX CEO John Landgraf and Disney TV Studios and ABC Leisure chairman Dana Walden fired him for “all of the complaints levied in opposition to me.” Sutter added, “Not the best way I wished to finish my 18 yr relationship with FX. At the least being fired for being an abrasive dick is on model.”
FX declined to touch upon the matter when contacted by E! Information.
His letter, addressed to “Group Mayans,” started, “Apparently, Disney HR and Enterprise Affairs has performed an investigation into the unacceptable circumstances which were created on the set of Mayans in season 2. As you recognize, I’ve eliminated myself fairly a bit this season, permitting others to take a much bigger function in producing the present. It seems that philosophy has backfired.”
