Monument FX invites the community to join them at their new headstone showroom on Friday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be light refreshments and a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 12:30 p.m.

Everyone in attendance will have the opportunity to win $2,000 off any FX Industries service, including headstones, metal fabrication or powder coating. All services are performed at the company’s headquarters in Hurricane.

Completed earlier this year, the 4,000-square-foot warehouse is Southern Utah’s largest indoor headstone showroom. Monument FX offers an extensive in-stock selection of granite and other natural materials to choose from.

Customers are welcome to browse the temperature-controlled showroom, where everything is clearly priced, and take their time without being hassled by a salesperson. Should they have questions, the friendly staff is available to assist in making a selection.

“We really pride ourselves on customer service,” general manager Wil DuCrest said. “It’s often a private and sensitive time when families are picking out these headstones, and we give them their space.”

Monument FX transforms ideas into gorgeous memorials designed to honor and celebrate the lives of loved ones. Every headstone is thoughtfully crafted and thoroughly unique. From design to delivery, their skilled craftspeople help bring any concept to life. Customers work one-on-one with the shop’s design staff.

Monument FX takes pride in offering factory-direct pricing on stone, DuCrest said. They purchase blank slabs of wholesale granite, marble or natural stone and complete all design and finish work in-house, including media blasting, lithochrome paint filling, laser engraving and installation.

“We take care of everything from conception to completion,” he added. “We do every last detail.”

The craftspeople at Monument FX have trained under Ron Clamp, a third-generation stone carver from Elberton, Georgia, a small town hailed as the “Granite Capital of the World.” They can carve virtually any design and shape into nearly 20 colors of domestic granite, plus a few marble options, and strive to make every monument reflect the essence of the subject. Monument FX also creates commemorative benches, mausoleums, urns and pet headstones.

Beyond memorials, Monument FX designs address markers, business signs, awards, trophies and plaques. FX Industries also offers laser technology for making one-of-a-kind gifts and keepsakes as well as branding drinkware, jewelry, watches, knives and even firearms. They can mark and etch into wood, stone, metals, plastics, glass and leather.

Monument FX is a division of FX Industries, a family-owned and operated business located in Hurricane. Founded in 1984, the company’s roots are in the lighting industry but have since diversified into a multi-faceted operation.

FX Industries also encompasses Special FX Lighting, FX Powder Coating, Creative Metal FX and Laser FX, and every division maintains the same standards of safety, quality and production. The company designs, fabricates, manufactures and finishes a wide variety of products for many different applications that are used both locally and around the world.
