Congress implements five electoral guarantees in Karnataka
2) Guarantee-2: Under ‘Gruha Lakshmi’, government will pay Rs. 2000 to woman head of family. The scheme will be effective from August 15.
3) Guarantee-3: Under ‘Anna Bhagya’, 10 kgs of rice will be given to all BPL families (per head) & Antyodaya card holders. It will be in effect from July 1st.
4) Guarantee-4: Under ‘Shakti’, all women will travel for free in govt buses, BMTC and KSRTC within the state; barring AC buses, sleeper buses & Rajahamsa buses. In KSRTC buses we will reserve 50% for gents & rest 50% for women. It will be in effect from June 11.
5) Guarantee-5: Under’Yuva Nidhi’, unemployed under-graduates, who graduated this year, will be provided ith Rs. 3,000 per month for up to 2 years. Unemployed diploma holders will receive Rs. 1,500 per month for 2 years, including transgenders
