Ukraine forex reserves slip to $37.2 billion, central bank says

(Reuters) – Ukraine’s foreign currency reserves slipped to $37.2 billion as of Aug. 1, the central bank said on Tuesday.

The reserves fell by 1.8% over the past month due to the central bank’s interventions to cover the foreign currency structural deficit in the market, as well as due to the country’s debt payments, the central bank added.
