Past Meat introduced Tuesday that Alibaba’s Freshippo grocery shops would begin promoting its meatless burger patties, marking its entry into supermarkets in mainland China. 

The maker of meat options first entered mainland China in April by means of a partnership with Starbucks. Yum China’s KFC, Taco Bell and Pizza Hut additionally promote Past Meat merchandise in a number of Chinese language cities.

Past Burgers will likely be out there at 50 Freshippo areas in Shanghai beginning Saturday. By September, the patties will even be out there at a further 48 areas in Beijing and Hangzhou.
