Power has been restored to 99.8% of those affected by Storm Arwen, but it is “not good enough”, Greg Hands has told MPs.
The energy minister was answering North Durham MP Kevan Jones who criticised the performance and communications of Northern Powergrid in north-east England.
And the Labour MP recounted how an employee of the company had told him information on its website was “complete nonsense”.
