The federal government has apologised for failing to correctly commemorate black and Asian service personnel that died throughout World Conflict One.

Talking within the Home of Commons, Defence Secretary Ben Wallace mentioned: “I need to apologise for the failures to stay as much as their founding rules all these years in the past, and categorical deep remorse that it has taken so lengthy to rectify.”

The apology comes after the Commonwealth Conflict Graves Fee itself apologised for the findings in its report, which discovered that a few of those that died combating for the British Empire weren’t correctly commemorated as a result of “pervasive racism”.
