The previous president of the Welsh Liberal Democrats says he owes the NHS his life after being handled for coronavirus.

William Powell, a former Meeting Member for the Mid and West Wales, and a sitting Powys councillor, had been severely sick.

He thanked workers at Nevill Corridor Hospital in Abergavenny and Crickhowell Group Follow for his care, after being on a ventilator for 3 weeks.

He praised their “kindness”.

“I am getting stronger and extra decided with every day that passes,” he mentioned.

“When it comes to care over the interval it does create a recent problem getting sturdy once more – getting that energy is the important thing factor now and following directions.”

In a tweet, he mentioned he owed clinicians his life.
