Chancellor Rishi Sunak has mentioned pledged an additional £3bn for the NHS in England- however has warned that the UK will proceed to be borrowing “huge sums” because it offers with the Covid pandemic.

Talking to the BBC’s Andrew Marr, Mr Sunak mentioned the cash for the NHS would assist sort out backlogs in therapies and elective surgical procedure.
