Prime Minister Boris Johnson has mentioned the UK is experiencing a second wave of Covid-19.
Mr Johnson mentioned he didn’t need additional lockdown measures however “clearly whenever you take a look at what is going on you have to ponder whether we have to go additional than the rule of six that we introduced in”.
It comes as new restrictions have been confirmed for Merseyside, components of the Midlands and West Yorkshire.
On Friday, the UK recorded an extra 4,322 confirmed instances of coronavirus.
