An unbiased panel has accused the Met Police of “institutional corruption” for concealing or denying failings over the unsolved homicide of personal investigator Daniel Morgan.

Regardless of 5 police inquiries and an inquest, no-one has been delivered to justice over the father-of-two’s dying in 1987, with the Metropolitan Police admitting corruption had hampered the unique homicide investigation.

Talking within the Home of Commons, House Secretary Priti Patel mentioned: “Daniel Morgan deserved far, much better than this, as did his household.”
