Dominic Raab has defended the choice of the federal government to permit Huawei’s know-how to play an element within the UK’s future 5G cellular networks.
Making an announcement within the Commons, the international secretary stated “threat can’t be eradicated in telecoms”.
However he added that it was “the job of presidency, Ofcom and business to work collectively to make sure we cut back our vulnerabilities and mitigate these dangers”.
