Health minister Edward Argar has said he understands people’s anger and upset over claims that as many as 100 people were invited to a “bring-your-own-booze” drinks event in the Downing Street garden during the first lockdown.
Speaking to BBC Breakfast, he added the prime minister was right to commission senior civil servant Sue Gray to conduct an independent inquiry into the parties.
