The UK and the US have agreed to amend an “anomaly” that allowed Harry Dunn loss of life suspect Anne Sacoolas to say diplomatic immunity.

A court docket listening to final month heard the “secret settlement” permitted Ms Sacoolas to return to America after the 19-year-old’s loss of life final August.

He was killed in a crash close to RAF Croughton, Northamptonshire.

Talking to the Press Affiliation (PA), Harry’s mom Charlotte Charles mentioned the change was a “big step ahead”.

She mentioned the household’s marketing campaign for Ms Sacoolas’s return to the UK would proceed.
