The UK and France are working collectively to cease migrants crossing the English Channel to succeed in Britain, the UK immigration minister has mentioned.
Talking after talks in Paris, Chris Philp mentioned making the crossing in boats and dinghies “places lives in danger, and it’s completely pointless”.
He mentioned the crossings had been “unacceptable to the French authorities and unacceptable to the UK authorities”.
