The setting secretary has mentioned he can see “no purpose” why the UK and France won’t get alongside fantastic when new buying and selling preparations are available to power for UK meals exports into the EU.
However George Eustice was pressed by Conservative MP Sheryll Murray who mentioned French fishermen and farmers “do are likely to protest regularly” and he or she needed to know if he had spoken to the French authorities.
Setting, Meals and Rural Affairs Committee chairman Neil Parish instructed Mr Eustice he would “have to be prepared” to ensure exports may proceed into France.
