George Galloway has won the Rochdale by-election with 12,335 votes.
He returns to Parliament as an MP for the Workers Party for Britain.
At the start of his winning speech Mr Galloway said “Keir Starmer – this is for Gaza”.
Labour, which had a 10,000 majority, had withdrawn support for candidate Azhar Ali over anti-Semitic comments.
