Ruth Davidson will take up her seat within the Home of Lords after her time period at Holyrood ends

Former Scottish Conservatives chief Ruth Davidson is to be appointed to the Home of Lords.

Ms Davidson has accepted the peerage and confirmed that she would proceed because the constituency MSP for Edinburgh Central till March 2021.

She’s going to solely take up her seat within the Home of Lords after her time period in Holyrood ends.

Ms Davidson stop as Scottish Tory chief final August after eight years within the position.
