Conservative MPs Tom Tugendhat and Iain Duncan Smith raised issues with Digital Minister Matt Warman on the usage of Huawei within the UK’s 5G community.
Earlier within the debate, former Conservative chief Iain Duncan Smith has mentioned Dr Ian Levy, who’s Technical Director of the Nationwide Cyber Safety Centre, described Huawei safety as “shoddy”.
Elsewhere in his speech, Mr Duncan Smith described attempting to get the UK authorities to not use Huawei gear as like “rehab” for somebody with a heroin habit.
