Disposable vapes were “behind the very worrying rise” in children vaping said Rishi Sunak explaining the proposed ban on them.

The PM said it was important to maintain vapes for adult smokers who want to give up cigarettes, but children should not have access to them.

He said there would be a free vote in Parliament but was he believed it was the “right long-term thing” to ban them to cut cancer rates and ease pressure on the NHS.
