An Ohio Nationwide Guardsman was faraway from policing protests in Washington D.C. after the FBI discovered he expressed white supremacist ideology on-line, Gov. Mike DeWine introduced in a briefing Friday.
The state had despatched 100 Nationwide Guard troopers to the nation’s capital Tuesday on the request of Secretary of Protection Mark Esper to help in quelling violence over the loss of life of George Floyd in police custody in Minneapolis.
“Whereas I totally assist everybody’s proper to free speech, Guardsmen and ladies are sworn to guard all of us, no matter race, ethnic background, or faith,” DeWine mentioned.
