March 27 (Reuters) – Air Canada’s AC.TO proposed C$720 million acquisition of tour operator Transat A.T. Inc TRZ.TO will lead to a considerable lessening or prevention of competitors, the Canadian Competitors Bureau stated on Friday.
The deal would lead to elevated costs, much less selection, decreases in service and a major discount in journey on routes the place their present networks overlap, the company stated.
