OTTAWA/MONTREAL, Dec 10 (Reuters) – Canada’s Transport Minister on Tuesday urged the nation’s largest service to resolve issues with its new reservation system, which have sparked an outpouring of complaints on social media.
Transport Minister Marc Garneau stated the regulator spoke with Air Canada AC.TO about complaints of service delays attributable to adjustments with the reservation system forward of the busy Christmas journey season.
“They (Air Canada) are very conscious we’re getting lots of calls about this,” Garneau informed reporters in Ottawa.
“I hope Air Canada can resolve its downside.”
Prospects took to Twitter to complain about adjustments to the service’s reserving system that resulted in delays.
