Airline SAS appoints Anko Van der Werff as new CEO

STOCKHOLM, April 28 (Reuters)Swedish-Danish airline SAS SAS.ST stated on Wednesday it had appointed Anko Van der Werff as new chief government.

It stated in an announcement that Van der Werff, who at present is CEO at airline Avianca Holdings in Colombia, would be a part of SAS on July 15 on the newest.

SAS has been on the outlook for a brand new CEO after Rickard Gustafson in January introduced his resignation to take the helm at Swedish bearings maker SKF SKFb.ST after a decade in cost at SAS.

SAS stated on Wednesday it had appointed its chief business officer Karl Sandlund as appearing CEO and that Gustafson would hand over to Sandlund in Might.
