WASHINGTON, Jan 9 (Reuters)Boeing Co BA.N late Thursday launched redacted variations of communications tied to the event of simulators used within the improvement of the 737 MAX it referred to as “utterly unacceptable.”

The 737 MAX was concerned in two deadly crashes in 5 months that led to the aircraft’s grounding in March 2019.

The planemaker added some communications “elevate questions on Boeing’s interactions with the (Federal Aviation Administration) in reference to the simulator qualification course of. Unredacted variations of the messages had been turned over to the FAA and Congress in December.

Boeing stated Thursday it’s assured “all of Boeing’s MAX simulators are functioning successfully” after repeated testing of simulators for the reason that messages had been written.

Boeing added the “communications don’t replicate the corporate we’re and must be, and they’re utterly unacceptable.”
