Brazil choose delays Imcopa plant public sale after Bunge seeks extra information

SAO PAULO, Dec 6 (Reuters)A Brazilian chapter choose postponed the public sale of two soy crushing vegetation after U.S-based grain dealer Bunge LtdBG.N alleged the vendor offered “scarce and incomplete” details about the property, in response to courtroom filings seen by Reuters on Friday.

The sale of the 2 vegetation by privately owned Imcopa group, rescheduled to Feb. 17 from Dec. 4, is a part of the vendor’s plan to emerge from chapter.

Bunge alleged in a submitting on Nov. 26 that lacking and “outdated” info in Imcopa’s dataroom made it onerous to investigate the benefit of the potential funding, referring primarily to regulatory approvals for the vegetation to function.

The buying and selling agency’s Brazilian unit additionally claimed “inconsistencies” between the amended reorganization plan accredited by Imcopa’s collectors in 2017 and bidding guidelines revealed final October.
