SAO PAULO, Jan 20 (Reuters)Brazil-based meatpacker JBS SA JBSS3.SA stated on Wednesday China has lifted bans on two meat vegetation imposed in 2020 over coronavirus issues.

The corporate stated in a press release the lifting of the bans raised to 25 the entire variety of JBS vegetation in Brazil licensed to promote meat to China. JBS stated no different of its Brazilian vegetation is at the moment restricted by China, the most important purchaser of Brazil’s meat exports.

The bans lifted concerned two JBS vegetation in Brazil’s southernmost state of Rio Grande do Sul. One is positioned in Três Passos and the opposite is in Passo Fundo, the place the corporate produces pork and hen merchandise, respectively.
