Dec 17 (Reuters) – Canada is “getting very close to” to the purpose the place it’ll resolve whether or not to approve Air Canada’s AC.TO bid to purchase Transat A.T. Inc TRZ.TO, Transport Minister Marc Garneau instructed reporters in Montreal on Thursday, however mentioned he couldn’t give a date.
Transat shareholders on Tuesday accepted a reduced buyout provide from Air Canada. In October, Air Canada slashed its provide by nearly 75%.
