OTTAWA, Nov 5 (Reuters)Canada’s pork trade mentioned on Tuesday there may be “some validity” to a hearsay the sector had regained entry to China, its largest market, some 4 months after Beijing, citing falsified paperwork, blocked pork shipments.

“We’re conscious of the hearsay that Canada pork has regained entry to the Chinese language market,” the Canadian Pork Council mentioned in an announcement.

“This hearsay seems to have some validity and we’re awaiting additional particulars. Canadian pork producers are happy that the problems stopping the export of pork merchandise to China have been resolved.”

A federal agriculture division spokesman and the Chinese language embassy in Ottawa had no rapid remark.
