China will proceed to launch metals reserves in batches – state planner


BEIJING, July 19 (Reuters)China will strengthen commodity worth monitoring and proceed to launch copper, aluminium and zinc from its state reserves in batches, the Nationwide Improvement and Reform Fee (NDRC) mentioned on Monday.

The state planner had offered 20,000 tonnes of copper, 50,000 tonnes of aluminium and 30,000 tonnes of zinc from its reserves on July 5.

Greater than 200 nonferrous fabricators attended the bidding, with gross sales costs about 3-9% decrease than market worth that day, the NDRC mentioned.
