CAIRO, Jan 12 (Reuters)Egypt reopened its airspace to Qatari flights on Tuesday and will enable the resumption of flights between the 2 nations, aviation sources and state media mentioned.

The choice follows strikes by Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Egypt to finish a boycott by which they severed diplomatic, commerce and journey ties with Qatar in 2017.

The lifting of Egypt’s aviation ban allowed Qatari flights to cross Egyptian airspace and nationwide carriers from each nations to submit flight working schedules for approval, Al-Ahram state newspaper reported.
