CAIRO, Dec 31 (Reuters) – Egypt’s cupboard mentioned on Thursday it agreed a draft invoice to permit the state grains purchaser, the Common Authority for Provide Commodities (GASC) to co-found a shareholding transport firm to move commodities in and in a foreign country.
The firm, to be referred to as Atlantic Pacific Firm for Delivery and Commerce, will concentrate on the marine transport of commodities inside Egypt and overseas, and can personal industrial transport vessels.
GASC tenders regularly for vegetable oils and wheat, of which it’s the world’s largest purchaser.
Delivery presents are introduced within the tender, and plenty of are sometimes awarded to the state-owned Nationwide Navigation Firm.
