WASHINGTON, Oct 18 (Reuters)Boeing Co BA.N turned over on the spot messages from 2016 between two staff that counsel the airplane maker might have misled the Federal Aviation Administration a couple of key security system on the grounded 737 MAX, sources briefed on the matter mentioned.

The FAA confirmed Friday that Boeing informed it a day earlier about inside messages it had found “some months in the past” that characterize “sure communications with the FAA through the authentic certification of the 737 MAX in 2016.”
