EXCLUSIVE-White Home delays biofuel mandates attributable to political issues -sources


NEW YORK, July 20 (Reuters)The White Home has delayed an annual rule making course of to resolve on U.S. biofuel mixing mandates, because it searches for an answer on a contentious challenge that pits blue-collar refinery employees towards the nation’s corn farmers, two sources accustomed to the matter stated.

Lawmakers from each industries have been pushing the Biden administration on this challenge for months. The White Home has largely stayed out of the discussions however is now hoping to take management of the matter.
